We help create continuity with the beauty of dance
Kolo represents a powerful symbol of Serbian national identity and mutual connectivity. The meaning of 'Kolo' refers to a 'circle', and hence the name of the dance. Through 'Kolo' there is a continual and unbreakable line that creates unity and a collective spirit. While various types of kolo existed for centuries, our group has been part of this

tradition with over 30+ years in existence. Sava Church in Toronto and moved to Mississauga to be a part of the All Saints Serbian Orthodox Church. The tradition continues with a common spirit and pride that moves on from generation to the next, through volunteers, dancers, and teachers.

Hello our dancers and parents, we are excited to announce that a new dance instructor, Nick Kopač will be joining St. Sava Oplenac Folklore Ensemble!
This new season we will have practice on 2 days, Thursday and Sundays!
Our first practice and registration will start on Thursday September 5th, 2024.
Children age 3-6 @5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Children age 7-13 @ 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Children age 14 - 22 @ 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Also on Thursday Sept 5th, we do welcome Adults 22+ (Alumni group) for the registration

Additional practice on Sundays, starting from September 15th but only for:
- Children age 14-22 @ 6 -8 pm
- Alumni group (Age 22+) @ 8-10 pm
