Actions speak louder than words. I'm Out !
After she refused to speak to the media, the tennis star Naomi Osaka decided to withdraw from the French Open tournament to protect her mental health. Leaders of the Grand Slam tournaments threatened to eject Naomi from the event if she continued her boycott to the post-games press conferences, so she decided to leave the tournament. Several athletes and celebrities supported Osaka and her decision.
“This is a moment for all of us — especially the press — to ask why it’s not enough to let her stellar performance on the court speak for itself.“ Hillary Clinton
"You shouldn't ever have to make a decision like this — but so damn impressive taking the high road when the powers that be don't protect their own, "Major respect.“ Steph Curry

Someone might get hurt again 😡😡
Five irrational behaviors by fans in the first week of the playoffs: Spitting, dumping popcorn, inappropriate comments towards a player’s family, and running onto the court during the game. Seems like the fans have forgotten how to act.
“There is no perfect solution to controlling what fans do. There are, however, ways to curb this kind of behavior from fans. One easy fix solution would be to designate a player in the arena and allow them to confront people in the stands if needed. For obvious reasons, the league would never allow this, especially after the “Malice at the Palace” incident in Detroit. ” Damian Lillard
“I’m grateful that they’re coming in to watch a great performance. But we’re not at the theater. We’re not throwing tomatoes and other random stuff at the people that are performing. “So grow the up and enjoy the game. It’s bigger than you.”” Kyrie Irving.

If the government can’t do it, I will ! 💪
England and Manchester United star Marcus Rashford played the Superhero rule for the kids in schools and guaranteed to extend free school meals over the holidays after MPs voted against the measure. Marcus Rashford’s campaign managed to turn the Commons defeat in the UK government into a victory.
“It is a fantastic example – as a minister for culture and sport – seeing sportspeople playing such a leading role in the national debate.”
