The golf seasons starts today!

Junior Memberships are now sold out for the 2026 season. All locations are closed for golf and will reopen in early spring 2026. Snow loops are available at Dentonia Park, Don Valley and Humber Valley. The City operates five golf courses. Visit each course page to book your tee time and for green fe...

SCARLETT WOODS OPEN (SWO) TOURNAMENT RECAP

January 31, 2026

Conditions: 20-40 cm of snow, extreme difficulty walking, ribbons required.
All tee pads and tee areas cleared.
Extreme cold but low wind, partially sunny.

51 players Round 1: 9:00 - 1:30
Possibly the most exhausting round of disc golf ever. Cannot explain how hard it was at times. Everyone who survived = Olympic champion.

Break 1:30 - 2:30
7 DNF withdrawals (sanity prevailing)

Problem: insufficient daylight for another marathon snow round

Solution:
Two new layouts - GOLD 13 and BLUE 13 using holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 16, 17, 18, 10, 11, 8, 9

44 players Round 2: 2:45 - 5:30 (13 hole layouts)

95 total rounds. In that late January snowy deep freeze. Warriors. Thank goodness for the sun at moments.
