What a weekend of learning here at Off Grid!

Popcorn and I would like to thank Jessica of Tomorrow Equine for giving all of us tools for our horses to crave being with us. By learning the 3 types of horses and the 4 horsenalities, then how to communicate effectively with our horse, we all came away with skills to practice. We are looking forward to hosting Jessica again in 2027.

And a BIG thank you to all the participants who came from near and far (3 hours away!). We enjoyed learning about you, your horse and your horsemanship journey. 🙏🤠

We are to have hosted the New Brunswick Driving Society's Beginner & Novice Fall Clinic this past weekend.

We had beautiful weather, learned a ton, and practiced many times putting on and taking off harnesses, ground driving and taking a cart drive.

Thank you to Amanda for organizing and to our very knowledgeable and patient instructor, Gillian.

Our final event this season is Oct 17 & 18 - Become a Liberty Expert. A few spots left!

Big progress at our Meditation Park! 🌿

We started by laying down cardboard (a huge thanks to Jennifer Lindsay and Cy Whiteley for all the cardboard donations!! 🙏🤩), then dirt, then fine gravel. Now Mike is hand-laying every brick to build our walking labyrinth, one circle at a time.

Meanwhile, this wet weather has been perfect for weeding, and I've been able to clear the area around the pond to make room for hostas.

Slow and steady — it's coming together! 💛
