A beautiful sunrise Vortex test-towing session yesterday! Up at 5AM, arrived at the tow road and set up the hang glider in the pitch black with the headlights on. Got two more Vortex'es tested and ready to ship out to eager customers.

Engineering turning into reality! It's easy to make a one-off machine but with our planning we can now turn out consistent machines.

...now I'm just getting fancy...painting and branding our wooden carriers that come with each vx11 & vx15. It makes lifting these heavier machines on and off the hitch pin much easier. It also makes it easier to store & transport the Vortex and protect it while not in use.

Congratulations to Crista and Oscar on their first Vortex tows on the beach in Guatemala yesterday! It was so cool to be on video with them while I am up here in -20°C.

Out testing new Vortex'es today. Even in -20°C.....gotta be done as our backlog for testing is growing.

I just updated expected availability dates online. A small amount of inventory will be available in the next month. A few more in March and then the next batch likely won't be ready until May. So if you want a unit for EARLY spring, now is the time to commit.

The Vortex has a long Christmas list but it did get one of its wishes....the vx4 (solo PG) was the last of the lineup to get its mechanical level-wind! So no more long boom for a fairlead and a consistent "tight stack" of rope everytime.
