I’m pretty sure I first read this quote on a poster in my high school, and for some reason it’s always stuck with me.

It’s easy to dwell when you’re disappointed in yourself, but life is too short to sit in the negative. Berating yourself when you know you can do better is not the answer.

If you haven’t worked out or have chose to order nutrition-lacking take-out all week, that doesn’t mean you’ve failed. You don’t have to continue an unhealthy pattern just because that’s how the month, week, or day started.

Tell yourself you can do better and move on! Focus on the choices you can be proud of.💛

I’m so excited! I can finally announce that December Dailies–my first free program AND first release of full length workout videos–is coming to you!✨

Launching December 1st, December Dailies is a 31-day calendar of workouts, stretches, and recipes for you to enjoy each day of the month.

Gentle, inclusive, and aimed at beginner to intermediate exercisers, December Dailies aims to encourage a balanced and active lifestyle with the guidance of a qualified, experienced professional.

On the morning of the 1st, I’ll release a preview of the calendar along with the activity for Day 1. From then on, simply check the Instagram page each day of December that requires new material. All new content will be dropped at 6 AM EST with all full length videos linked to YouTube.

Mark your calendars and gear up for a month of fun! Let’s transition into the New Year feeling amazing.💙

Oh my goodness–I am so excited! After weeks of prep, I can finally announce that December Dailies–my first free program AND my first release of full length workout videos–is coming to you!✨

December Dailies is gentle, inclusive, and aimed at beginner to intermediate exercisers. The goal is daily movement to encourage an active lifestyle and awareness of your own body. It is an opportunity to set time aside for yourself, check in with your health, and set new goals with the guidance of a qualified and experienced health and fitness professional.

The best way to elevate your dinner? Dressing! It’s not just for salads, folks.

Whipping up a homemade sauce or vinaigrette is the easiest way to elevate your plate. Try this Maple Tahini combo (a personal favourite) with your next meal!

1 part tahini
½ part freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ part pure maple syrup
Salt to taste
Water for consistency

There’s nothing wrong with setting physical exercise targets. However, when your workouts revolve solely around appearance, those goals are only skin deep—literally.

The changes that truly make a difference in your life are the ones that provide opportunity and perspective. When you improve the health of your body, you can feel the difference every day: in the way you move, your energy, your mood, motivation, and so much more.
Sure, feeling better about your appearance can improve self confidence, but feeling better about who you are as a human being will change your life.💛

You don’t have to ace every movement with perfect form and agility to see results. You don’t even have to complete every single workout in your program. Yes—you read that right. Read it again.

Don’t beat yourself up for missing one workout or having two desserts on Christmas. Those choices do not define your health over the course of an entire year.

Taking care of your body is about consistency, not perfection. As long as you’re choosing nutritient-dense foods and moving your body 80% of the time, you’re doing a great job!💛

Need a quick and easy Friday night dinner? This Red Lentil Dahl from is one of my staple recipes. Delicious, and ready in 30 minutes!👌🏻

All you need is some dried red lentils, a can of coconut milk, and a few staple pantry items—plus a big handful of spinach for a nice hit of greens. Serve with rice, naan, or whatever you prefer!

I make this at least a couple of times a month in the colder seasons and it never fails to hit the spot. Not to mention the fact that reducing intake of animal products encourages consumption of more plants while reducing harmful impact on the environment.🌱🤗

Nobody can tell you what's best for you better than yourself!

This applies to many areas of life, including your workout routine. If something feels wrong, painful, or leaves you depleted and weak, your body could be trying to tell you to stop. Trust how you feel by moving in a way that is uniquely yours while still remaining mindful of safe form. This will reduce your risk of injury, increase your workout frequency, and improve your enjoyment of exercise. Your mind and body will thank you for it!💛
