Toronto Tai Chi High quality Yang Style Tai Chi for health and self defense.

New classes on Wednesday afternoons:
Bagua Zhang.

Learn the spiraling kungfu style of Bagua Zhang in Toronto.

Bagua Zhang is an entirely open handed Martial style emphasizing evasive maneuvering rather than meeting force head on.

The curriculum of my classes includes:

- Neigong: Internal training to attain relaxed muscles and flexible joints.

- Jiben Gong: foundation training including postures for strength, stability and speed.

- Ba Mu Zhang: Eight Mother postures of Bagua performed while walking the circle.

- Lao Ba Zhang: traditional eight palms, a routine similar to Tai Chi, but more dynamic and faster

- Self defense applications.

- Bagua Lianhuan zhang: bagua linking routine.

Rou shou: pushing hands, a competitive exercise used to test force.

Classes are Monday afternoons from 3-4 pm at Alexander Muir Memorial Garden near Lawrence Station.

Price is:$20 per class or $70 per month.

We will move inside once the weather becomes too cold.

Classes will not meet if it is raining, but otherwise class will be every week.

Please dress in loose clothes which are sensible for the season.
