Putting yourself out there on the net and getting criticized was my biggest fear…

One of the reasons I held myself back and silenced my voice was because I didn’t want to be made fun of or have some unhealed human project their insecurities onto me.
It came from being bullied in high school and having a critical father.
But I realized that, at the root, I was running away, trying to escape my own truth—which was, I couldn’t handle it when I didn’t seem perfect.
It’s known as atelophobia, the fear of imperfection or not being good enough.
My dad’s critical voice became my own, and nothing was ever enough. I had this epiphany one day when I was disciplining my daughter and realized I sounded just like my father, which freaked me the eff out.
Anywho, this video I created came out of pushing myself to be my authentic self. No video edits. No trying to fix my mistakes. Mistakes while I’m talking are great because they show you I’m human and far from perfect.
Negative forces are part of life, and no matter what you do, someone will hate it and have an opinion. Successful and happy people often boost others and won’t be found in a YouTube comment section trying to bring someone down. Those people are very hurt and broken. My new mantra is “send them blessings.”
This is your sign today to stop trying to be perfect because it’s your one-way ticket to delusion land, as it doesn’t exist. The sooner we embrace our flaws, the sooner we reach inner harmony and peace.
🙏
Love & light ❤️
