Last month, we hosted our first-ever 3-day Kayak & Sketch Tour!

This art-focused expedition was a chance to slow down, look a little closer, and experience the coast from a new perspective. Participants paddled along the shoreline before settling in to sketch intertidal life, coastal landscapes, and the details that are easy to miss when you're simply passing by.

Three beautiful days of paddling, exploring, and putting pencil to paper.

Another season of bioluminescent tours is in the books!

One of our most popular tours, bioluminescence is truly a bucket-list experience. There’s something pretty special about being out on the water at night, only lit up by the stars and a headlamp, with each paddle stroke causing the ocean to sparkle and glow (unfortunately very difficult to capture in photos!).

Thanks to everyone who joined us for these evenings adventures throughout August & September! And a special shoutout to Chocolate Tofino for keeping our paddlers warm out on the water with their Hot Chocolate Elixir - part of every tour!

One of our favourite views at Paddle West is what we in the business call… “mountains wearing a cloud.”

There’s something pretty special about paddling beneath the peaks as the clouds roll in and out, constantly changing the landscape around you. A great reminder that the coast always has something new to show you.
