🥋 A Friendly Reminder to Our Martial Arts Families | Code of Conduct & Studio Expectations
As our Kids BJJ and Muay Thai programs continue to grow, we want to take a moment to remind all families of our expectations while attending classes at Balance Studios.
Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, structured and positive environment for every child, instructor and member who walks through our doors.
We kindly ask all families to review and respect the following guidelines:
🥋 Uniforms, Equipment & Personal Hygiene
* All students are expected to arrive in the appropriate uniform for their program.
* Required protective equipment must be worn and used correctly.
* Uniforms should be clean and well-maintained.
* Long hair must be securely tied back and kept out of the face.
👨👩👧👦 Siblings & Children Watching Classes
* Siblings who are not participating in class must remain under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
* Please bring quiet activities or entertainment to keep younger children occupied.
* Running, roughhousing, climbing on equipment or wandering throughout the facility is not permitted.
* Children must not touch gym equipment or enter training areas, studios or other spaces not designated for them.
* Our staff and instructors are responsible for teaching and operating the facility, not supervising children outside of class.
* families are welcome to use the sofa in the lobby for extra comfort.
🤫 Noise Levels & Shared Spaces
* We ask parents and spectators to keep conversations and noise levels to a minimum.
* Please avoid gathering and socializing in hallways, as other classes and services are taking place throughout the facility.
* Be mindful of instructors teaching, members training and individuals enjoying their wellness experience.
* Hallways and entrances must remain clear and accessible.
🤝 Respect for Our Facility & Community
Balance Studios is a shared facility offering multiple programs and services throughout the day.
While we love the energy and excitement our martial arts families bring, it’s important to remember that the entire facility is not a waiting room or play area.
We expect all students, siblings and parents to treat our instructors, staff, fellow members, equipment and shared spaces with courtesy and respect.
These expectations are not optional. They are in place to ensure the safety of our children, maintain the quality of our programs and create a welcoming experience for everyone who uses our facility.
We truly appreciate the families who consistently demonstrate these values and help us maintain a positive environment.
Thank you for your cooperation, understanding and continued support of our martial arts community.
