🏊🏼‍♀️🏊‍♂️What a weekend for the Timmins Marlins! 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊‍♂️

This past weekend, Isla DiTullio, Mattie Labrosse, Annabelle Desrocher, Miriam Desrocher, Charlotte Chow, Danika Ciccone, Liliane Ciccone, Maia Kinsella, Kai Chow, and Hugo Alexander competed at the 2026 Swim Ontario Open Water Championships in beautiful Gravenhurst, Ontario!❤️❤️❤️

Open water racing is no easy feat. It takes strength, endurance, and determination to compete alongside some of Ontario’s top swimmers.

A huge congratulations to Liliane Ciccone on her 3rd-place finish in the 3 km Open Water event! What an incredible accomplishment!

Congratulations to Mattie Labrosse! WHO battled through the challenging 2 km open water race and brought home an amazing 2nd-place finish. AMAZING

We are so proud of every Marlin who represented our club with heart, determination, and sportsmanship. Congratulations to our swimmers, coaches, and families on an amazing weekend!

This support helps our club in so many ways, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful. Opportunities like this allow us to continue growing, supporting our athletes, and creating experiences for our swimmers and families.

THAAAANK YOU

The Tourism Development Fund Committee (formerly MATT) is proud to support the annual Fred Rams Memorial Swim Meet hosted by the Timmins Marlins with a $10,000 grant.

This exciting event welcomes more than 200 swimmers aged 14 and under from across Northeastern Ontario, showcasing emerging talent at the B Championship level. 🏊‍♂️🌊

Events like this continue to bring visitors to our community, support local tourism, and highlight Timmins as a destination for sport and recreation. 💙
