This silent auction was created to support one of our beautiful local businesses through a season of trial.

Helenaโ€™s Cakes & Cafรฉ has quickly become a well-loved staple in Tilbury, and the incredible number of donations we received for this auction is a testament to just how loved Helena is โ€” and to the way this community shows up for one another.

A totally FREE running club for Tilbury + surrounding area.

We meet at the studio, we run together, and we finish together. One of our instructors will lead a 1.5K loop back to the studio, with the option to call it there or head out for another loop for 3K.

No coaching. No drills. No training plan. Just a group of people who want to move together this fall.

Hey guys, this is Sarah โ€” owner of Just Move.

Can I have your ear for a minute?

Weโ€™re a pretty new small business here in Tilbury, but we care about this town a whole heck of a lot. Small businesses are a huge part of what makes a town feel like home.ย 

And Helenaโ€™s Cakes & Cafรฉ is one of those places.

With Helenaโ€™s permission, I want to share that she has experienced an unexpected medical emergency (something many of you might already know) that has left her unable to work โ€” with absolutely no time to prepare for it.

Orders had to be cancelled. Customers had to be refunded. The doors had to close.

And when you own a small business, you donโ€™t really get to press pause on the bills just because life throws something at you.

That hit me hard. Because the truth is, any one of us who owns a small business could find ourselves in that position.

So instead of watching one of our own go through a really hard season alone, we want to do something.

"Hi! Iโ€™m Hailey! I'm your local esthetician by day and now your Zumba instructor by night! I was born and raised right here in Tilbury, and Iโ€™m so excited to be taking on this new adventure.

What started as something I simply enjoyed doing by taking Sarahโ€™s Zumba classes eventually turned into something I wanted to share with others. With Sarahโ€™s encouragement and the amazing support from everyone in our Zumba family, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and do something I never thought I would ever do!

Taking on the role of a Zumba instructor is a big new adventure for me, and Iโ€™m so grateful to have the opportunity to share it with all of you. My goal is to create a fun, energetic, and welcoming class where everyone can let loose, be active, dance, laugh, and forget about the stresses of the dayโ€”even if itโ€™s just for an hour!
