🔥 HIP HOP DROP-IN THIS THURSDAY! 🔥
We are so excited to welcome Jessie Kajorinne to Ignite Dance Academy for a special Hip Hop Drop-In! Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, learn something new, or simply have an amazing time dancing, this is a class you won’t want to miss.
Meet Jessie:
Jessie is from Thunder Bay, ON, where she currently resides and works as a Registered Pharmacist. She began dance at the age of 14 years at International Dance Academy in Thunder Bay, training in several styles such as ballet, jazz, and hip hop. It was here where she discovered her passion for hip hop. She continued dancing with Legacy Dance Co. in Thunder Bay for several years, where she was privileged to teach hip hop classes to students of all ages, as well as adults. Jessie took her training further while living in Toronto, ON for pharmacy school. She became a member of Silhouettes Dance Co., a non-profit charity dance troupe based in Toronto which fused several styles together including contemporary, street jazz, and hip hop. She also choreographed for the University of Toronto Pharmacy Performing Arts Club. Additionally, Jessie was a regular patron of The Underground Dance Centre where she was able to train in various styles of dance, with a focus on advanced hip hop choreography. Jessie has had the honour of performing at various events in Thunder Bay, including The Hunger and other DefSup Art Gallery events. Her goal with dance is to celebrate the capabilities of all bodies in dance, as well as to share the joy of dance with others!
