This week I had the opportunity to visit Aqua Essence Swim Academy in Winnipeg and connect with fellow swim school leaders through the Canadian Swimming School Alliance.

One of the greatest benefits of being part of this alliance is the opportunity to collaborate with swim schools from across Canada. While our programs and communities may be different, we all share a common mission: helping children become safe, confident swimmers and creating exceptional aquatic experiences for families.

Through the Canadian Swimming School Alliance, we are able to share ideas, discuss challenges, exchange best practices, and learn from one another’s successes. These connections help us continue to evolve and ensure that we are bringing the very best programming, customer experience, and staff development opportunities back to our own communities.

Thank you to the team at Aqua Essence for your warm hospitality and for taking the time to share your insights. It was inspiring to see your facility, learn more about your approach, and spend time discussing the future of independent swim schools in Canada.

At Learn to Swim, we believe that continuous learning doesn’t stop with our students. By investing in relationships with other industry leaders and working together through the Canadian Swimming School Alliance, we strengthen not only our own programs but the swimming industry as a whole.

Looking for a little extra swim practice before summer? We have a limited number of $10 private lessons available for children ages 3–12!

These lessons will be taught by a new instructor who will be closely supervised by a qualified Learn to Swim Instructor, making them a great opportunity for swimmers to receive one-on-one attention at a special price.
