Slowly working out the issues and figuring out what i need to fix on the “new” Cobalt, definitely isn’t handling like my Neon does but it’s getting better. Looking like the old rear tires and suspension might be a issue , also thinking of resurrect the neon somtime this season now that I found an engine for it

The street stock racing at mosquito was super fun in Tom Owen old 21 car, need to figure out the set up a little better and re learn the way that car drives after it got updated but overall had allot of fun and very grateful for the opportunity. maybe ill get to try it again sometime. Unfortunately I can’t do any wissota races though without getting my hornet license stripped

May 20th

Heat 6th- 2nd🥈
Feature 8th- 9th

Major electrical issues on lap 2 of the feature was up to 4th car shut off fell back to last (17th) got it running again and made it up to 9th while it kept cutting in and out periodically but overall was very happy with the handling of the car when it was running and had a great night

May 27th

Heat 7th- 5th
Feature 10th- 4th

Found engine sensor issues after the heat race, got it fixed up and got to run the first race with the new car running properly and once i figured out the line and how to drive, it was a rocket 🚀 still lots of maintenance to do and tire pressure set up to learn but on the right track now

Car was better but not great on Feb 8th still fighting handling issues later in the races.
The 14th was a day of trial and error - mostly error 😆making adjustments on tire pressure set up.
On the 15th I tried changing the rear pressure quite a bit and it made a huge difference. finally was able to drive the car hard and it feel controllable. Led quite a few laps in the heats and around half of the feature having some awesome battles with the 51 of Aaron Sacek

Car was pretty good on the 25th ran consistent all day. On the Feb 1st started off alright but was feeling very unpredictable in the corners and lacked traction in all sections in the feature race, afterwards found a worn out tie rod & alignment was way off. rear had a bent trailing arm causing rear alignment issues aswell. So im back in the garage getting it fixed up 😁
