Sorry for the late update for the 203. Well the stars aligned, and I was able to wheel the car for the Cheyenne Memorial. It was very emotional to say the least and a beautiful tribute that Thunder City Speedway put on in her honour! The car was pretty decent in the heat. Finished a solid 3rd, up there with 2 badass fast cars. In the feature started 5th. Slipped back a couple spots, the car had no traction out of the corner. Then there was a little mishap. Lol. Ripped the nose cone and RF fender off. But hey, that’s racing. It was a racing deal. Nobodies upset about it. It’s all cosmetic damage. Looked way worse than anything. But it’s definitely not the first time I’ve finished a race with half the body ripped off 🤣. Had to start at the back with 5 laps to go. Was able to make back quite a few spots and finish in 12th. But man, I had a blast! The car is feeling pretty good. We’ll make some changes and hope for the best next week

Iykyk. When a legend of the sport hangs out in your pit and gives advice. You listen! I’ve been privileged the last couple seasons to have the knowledge, experience and support from this gentleman. And…. A little kick in the ass a time or two 🤣. But that’s how you learn right

So we brought the 203 to the Bug last Saturday. And man was it a blast. We had a great battle with Nate Owen all day. We were able to win the heat. Had another great battle with Nate in the feature with some great side by side racing for a few laps before he got by us and took off. That kid can definitely wheel and has a hot rod out there
