Another amazing season of hockey is on the horizon, and West End is set to have the most teams EVER hitting the ice!

With that in mind… we are still looking for ONE staff this season.

Our u11a2 team is looking for motivated coaches ready to lead this season.

📣 SNMHA 2026–27 U11 and U13 Season Update!

Thank you to everyone who has registered for the upcoming season! We are thrilled to get back on the ice. Here is your quick guide to the important dates and actions you need to know for the coming weeks.

1. Evaluation Jersey Pick-Up (U11 & U13 Only)

Pick up your evaluation jersey at the SNMHA Office (1124 Waterford Street, 2nd Floor).

Time: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Sept 1 (Tue): Last Names A–G

Sept 2 (Wed): Last Names H–N

Sept 3 (Thu): Last Names O–Z

2. Pathway Skates (U11, U13)

Get ready for tryouts! These optional sessions help players get back on the ice.

September 9 – September 11
(may be subject to minor changes)

3. Evaluations & Tryouts (U11 & U13)

Evaluation sessions begin the week of September 14. Attendance at ALL skates is critical. Group assignments and schedules are coming soon.

4. Player Selection Drafts (U11, U13)

Drafts are targeted to occur on or around Sept 21.

With the end of May upon us, we wanted to update the hockey community with the results of today’s AGM for west end!

After countless years of dedication and volunteering, Director and treasurer Richard Stephens has retired. A huge shout out and thanks to everything he has put into and done for not only West End hockey, but hockey in our city as a whole!

The director positions for West end for the 2025-2026 season are:

President/Chair: Jonathan Muia
Vice president/Secretary: Riccardo Muia
2nd Vice president: Brent Rau
Treasurer: Derek Demianiuk

As an organization, we are always looking for and open to having new members join in volunteer roles. If you’d like to get involved and weren’t able to join us for our AGM today don’t hesitate to reach out!

The executive has big plans for the 2026-2027 season, and we’ll be dropping updates throughout the summer.

For those looking to get involved coaching, keep your eyes peeled as we will be posting our coaching application forms VERY SOON! We do have a couple of our teams that are open for applications this season!
