Hi Gang!
We are working hard on registration details for the upcoming Fall Session. Our first class will be THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD, with registration forms available online by the last week of August.
Now is the time to chat with your friends and family, and to plan ahead for karate in your fall flow. Let's get ready for an incredible karate season!
Details:
1. Training will be the same time, place, and location as last year
(Tuesdays: 4pm & 5pm, Thursdays 5:45pm & 6:45pm,
2nd Floor of the Centennial Arena)
The two earlier classes are 'Family' and welcome ALL ages and stages. The later classes are directed to all adults, as well as advanced teens.
We recomend attending at least 2 classes a week,
adults are welcome to attend all 4.
2. The Membership Fee is a set fee for the full session.
It is helpful to view it like tuition for a course. Fees are due upon registration and need to be paid in full by the first class.
(Families who are in need of a structured payment plan-- providing full session payment through postdated cheques-- are invited to contact us BEFORE the first class.)
Please note, we are implementing an 'add/drop' date of September 15th (Fall Session) and January 15th (Winter Session). We will not be accepting new junior students after those dates. A student may withdraw before that date and receive a membership refund, minus a set admin fee.
3. Registration is 7 years of age and up.
When considering registration, ensure your student/child is ready to pay attention for the whole session, without a formal break. They should be able to hold their bladder for the length of the class, receive feedback, and embrace physical exertion with a positive attitude. We stongly encourage parents to consider joining with their child, and training alongside them.
(We also wanted to note that, due to scheduling, we will NOT be hosting a kids karate day camp this sumer. We look forward to offering more off-session opportunities to connect as we grow, while also finding flow within training, work, school, and family.)
4. Finally, we LOVE our local community and hope to see more adults, couples, and college students join us this year. Maybe your coworker would like to join with you, perhaps your spouse, what about Grandpa? We look forward to growing a rooted longterm community within this town.
Please contact us with your questions and feedback.
We look forward to training with you!
