Last night we had the honour of celebrating Thorold athletes from all sports at the annual Thorold Runway of Recognition ceremony.

What an accomplishment to be named and held to such a high standard. It's more than just excellence in sports its about making an impact on those around you 🏒👌🏼

The TAAA is excited to announce Joe Koudys & Sean Hall as our U7MD Coaches for the 2026/2027 season 🏒 🔥

Both Joe and Sean were members of last season’s U7 MD coaching staff and will continue building on the strong foundation established within the program. Their experience, leadership, and commitment to player development will provide a positive environment for our young athletes to learn and grow.

Sean brings both coaching and playing experience to the role. He spent four seasons playing Jr. B with the St. Catharines Falcons and three seasons with the Dundas Real McCoys Senior AAA program. In addition to his playing career, Sean has Junior B coaching experience and served as an Assistant Coach with our U7 MD team last season.

Joe has been coaching in Thorold for the past three seasons and currently serves as an Assistant Coach with our U9 MD program. He was also an Assistant Coach with the U7 MD team last season. As a player, Joe enjoyed an accomplished career that included being drafted by the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL, winning the 2005 Sutherland Cup with the Thorold Blackhawks Jr. B, competing at the NCAA Division I level, playing professionally in Germany, and continuing his career in Senior AAA hockey.
