Mouth Guard Clinic Information
Pucker-err Up Custom Athletic Mouth Guards will be hosting a mouth guard clinic for TMHA. Please reach out to [email protected] to book your appointment. Alternate dates are available, if needed.

OMHA (Ontario Minor Hockey Association) requires that all player wear a mouth guard when on the ice. Custom fit mouth guards are made to shape right around your child’s teeth and help feel more comfortable in their mouth.

It’s crazy to believe that hockey season is just over a month away!
Please make sure that you are checking your email with important updates regarding hockey season. If you have a child in U11, U13, U15 and U18 you should have received an email regarding team balancing skates. If you do not see this email, please check your junk mail. If it is not there, please reach out to our secretary ([email protected]), to ensure your email on HCR is your most up to date contact.
TMHA will be holding team balancing skates on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Angus Community Centre.
3:30pm: U11
4:30pm: U13
7:00pm: U15
8:00pm: U18
These balancing skates will help us create teams that will be balanced according to our league’s balancing policy.
Make sure to give yourself lots of time to check in and get your pinny.

Our First home ice at the Thornton Community Centre will be on September 26th, 2026 as we kick off the 26/27 hockey season. Stay tuned for more information!

Calling all volunteers!
If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity for the 26/27 season in Thornton Minor Hockey, please reach out to our Risk Director, Mike Axon ([email protected]) as soon as possible. The Vulnerable Sector screenings required by OHF are taking extended amounts of time at this moment and we want to ensure that you are able to step onto the ice at the end of September.

Registration Update!
Returning and new players have been registering to play in Thornton next year! We are excited to announce that we have continued to grow. If you are still thinking of registering, get in soon. Jersey orders go in at the beginning of August and limited spots remain available in Thornton hockey next year.
Our final jersey fitting will take place on Thursday, July 23rd from 5:30-7:30 in the Thornton Arena parking lot.
