☘️Learning requires feedback and one of the nice forms of visual immediate feedback can be using your shadow to learn new movements. It is for sure dependent on climate or indoor lighting but can be a very helpful and impactful way to train new patterns.

The trail knee can be an adapter for other issues in the golf swing so like everything when there are issues there try to search for the why. Potential reasons for the trail knee movement we see in the video could be attempted shallowing or lowering of the club, physical restrictions or intentions. Explore all values when working on anything like this .

One of my most looked at values. Unfortunately it’s not available as a numbered value on generic “3D “ apps so I have included more a visual of the clubhead travel to help represent the effect. If you want this measured make sure you do so on a good quality system, this visual we are showing is not enough to measure it you need the value.

Is it affecting your learning of a new move ? Yes we need visual feedback to start but that then needs to be replaced with how the new change feels ..don’t fall victim to this disease as you don’t learn the new change as quickly as you want.
