Payton’s stretched a bit thin between her other project pony, Stingray her sisters pony and her own horse and with school now I’m just going to make the executive decision to part with Cherry before we have really dive into her.
Meet Cherry Bomb. This pony has the attitude of Shego from Kim Possible. She fully believes “her s**t don’t stink” but she also believes that everyone else’s does. In fact she must think that we smell real bad because she’s a peach to catch (sarcasm, she’s really bad). She doesn’t really care about to much once you catch her but she absolutely believes she’s in charge. She’s around 18hh in her head and 10hh in reality. Payton has hopped on her and rode her around ba****ck with a halter on without much fuss, she thinks pushing her out of your bubble to lunge her means come even closer into your personal space.
She’s a sauce pot in the herd, she’s out with big horses and another pony and she really tries to be top dog but has surprisingly accepted her middle class status. This Regina George/Madea/Shego hasn’t done much here, just waiting her turn. Like I said she’s been ridden a few times, I was told she was used to pull kids on sleds in her previous home, I assume broke to drive but I’m offering no guarantees. She’s around 18 years old but her attitude/shape/abilities are every bit south of a 10 years old pony. Shes sound, seems like she’s got nice feet on her. A nice project for a handy kid, or a teen who wants a pony to drive.
If you like attitude, a challenge and a pretty roan pony, this little Cherry Bomb is for you. If she stays here her training/refresher will continue. I have a hunch she’s already been there done that but has just gotten away with being a pasture puff. We see a lot of ponies and I wouldn’t be surprised.
