In doing so I became more intrigued in what went into making the knives and how to do it.

All these pictures of sockeye and our gear out on the river is really making us want to get out there ourselves! Seeing all that healthy food hitting people freezers is amazing. And hopefully there will still be some out there when we get a chance to have a day off.

With summer and wedding season coming up, we figured it’s time to talk about our Damascus steel wedding bands!
These are the unique yet sleek bands you’ve been looking for. The right amount of class mixed with a rustic appeal that speaks our language.

Made out of alternating steel types to create contrast and split down the middle by a copper fusion. Representing the different paths that lead the couple to each other. And in the end, joining as one.

Jaclyn has done a lot of aprons over the years, from kitchen use to blacksmithing and woodworking!
All have their own versatile characteristics, depending on what the function is for!
In this circumstance the apron is our woodworker model. Featuring a chest pouch for your notebook, pencils or pens, different loops to hold hammers, pry bars or other tooling. As well as a split leg with loops to keep the leather tight to your legs to keep dust out of your boots!
We are all about craftsmanship for the tools we buy, and we try to pass that along with what we make.

With summer coming fast we are super excited about this fishing season!
Spending time outside, and catching a delicious dinner? Can’t go wrong.
Getting to use our products during and after a great time out on the river makes it just a little sweeter too.
And speaking of gear, we are working on our largest batch of fillets to date, some of which will be available at the Kitimat spring market next weekend at the River Lodge. Don’t miss out!

If you are still looking for a gift for the fisher’s in your life look no further. Our leather fly fishing wallets are one of our outdoor specialties. When your out in the river and you don’t want to come back to shore to change tackle, our small size fits right in your pocket!

We have 2 sizes of fly fishing wallets available. Made out of Canadian leather and high quality sheep shearling wool. We make these to last a life time! Jaclyn has also added some fun artistic touches to each, some have flies on the front, fishing rods and fish!
We are also able to add custom name stamping, to make your gift extra special this holiday season!

If you missed our holiday giveaway with don’t worry it’s still up and running until the 25th!

One of our contributions is this Damascus steel san mai hunter. The handle features some fossilized Woolly Mammoth tusk, phosphor bronze from and deer antler. Held together by a peened copper pin to ensure it never comes apart.

With hunting season almost over your just in time to take this hunter out for a quick test run. I may have missed most of the season with moving and setting up shop again. But there’s always next year! ( I say this every year about hunting it seems)

We will call this a kitchen tool to try keep instagram happy 🫠
