Forklift operator is responsible for the service flow of the dealership. Reports to the Service Writer.
-Minimum Class G driver's licence
-Operate forklift and other duties as assigned in the yard
-Safely operate customer's vessels during docking operations
-Adjust taillights on trailers, if applicable
-Change oils and filters, if applicable
-Other duties may be required

April through November employment - normally runs through December.

These employees will be working outside in all weather conditions. Some equipment operations will be required.

List of duties: carpentry, welding, mechanical, boat cleaning, boat delivery as well as property maintenance.

Starting wages will be determined considering past work history as well as past experiences.

Reporting to the Service Writer, the apprentice is responsible for the repair and overhaul of boats , machinery and trailers. Forklift operator is responsible for the service flow for the dealership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• • Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines
• Change oils, filters and gaskets
• Replace blowers, s ta rters , pumps, electrical and fuel systems
• Rewire lights and adjust taillights on trailers
• Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters and mirrors
• Safely operate customer vessels during diagnostic water testing operations and docking operations
• Operate forklift and other duties as assigned

Minimum Class G driver's licence and some forklift experience a must
