If you are not actively strength training & lifting weights you are literally losing your muscle & bone density.

You may not feel it now, but that sore back of yours might have something to do with the fact that your abdominal muscles have no functioning strength.

Your sore knee or shoulder is probably because the joint is lacking strength and flexibility.

Your tight joints are probably just weak.

NONE of those things can be fixed with rest.
Your body isnt needing rest, it is needing STRENGTH!

Pt 2 of Rebuild Era update 💪

Habits are in place, strength is coming back!

While I still FEEL like I just had a baby, and am so sleep deprived my brain has gone into auto pilot I am still choosing to show up for myself.

If im going to be tired anyways, id rather be tired in the gym than tired on the couch soo....

Protein Jello gets 2 👍👍

Super easy, quick and cheap high protein recipe for summer days & snacks!!

For kids id even put it into little molds for him to grab & snack on but he'll also just devour the whole pan so... he likes it!

A skill I'll probably never forget 💪

I have completed my postpartum program now and have made my next training plan for the next 8 weeks which includes 1 KB at home workout per week.

Stoked for it 🙌

Postpartum this round has been 100% better than last time and I give all the props to the program I followed to heal my body!!

Appropriate exercises
On my living room floor
Minimal equipment
Under 40 minutes

Couldn't ask for anything more than that and I feel sooo healed 💪

I might not be posting as much about this program anymore now that I am almost done it, but please dont forget about it & share with with all the mommas in your life who deserve to rebuild postpartum with intention! 🫶

Conversations that support a positive relationship with exercise are important to have.

This can be with your kids, parents, spouse or anyone who is curious why you are moving your body more.

Not everyone wants to be smaller, that is not the only reason to exercise, and changing the conversation from being skinny to anything else is powerful!

How do you talk to your family about exercise that is different from what you experienced growing up?
