🏒 CBCMHA TRYOUT & PROGRAM UPDATE 🏒

CBCMHA Members,

We know everyone is excited to get back on the ice, and we wanted to share a quick update on Rep tryouts, C programming and our U9 program.

We are currently working closely with our ice partners at CBRM Facilities to finalize the tryout schedule. CBRM Facilities is doing everything possible to accommodate our needs, and we appreciate both their efforts and your patience while the final details come together.

Here’s what we can confirm:

🏒 U13AAA Tryouts: Begin September 14
🏒 All Other Rep Tryouts: May begin as early as September 19
🏒 C Program: Expected to begin mid-to-late October
🏒 U9 Program: Gets underway in early October

We understand families are eager to plan, and we are working to get the complete schedule into your hands as quickly as possible. We hope to have more information to share very soon!

The 2026/27 hockey season is almost here. We can't wait to welcome everyone back to the rink!

U13AAA Groups for the upcoming tryouts are posted below. Please check and make sure postion is listed correctly for your player.

Players are to remain in their assigned group for both the first two skates.

Players will be issued a pinney at check-in and will keep this pinney for the first two skates. Pinneys are to be returned at the end of the second skate.

Players are encouraged to be at the rink at least 1/2 an hour before scheduled ice time
Goaltenders are to attend both scheduled ice sessions

GROUP 1
Monday September 14th - 7:00-8:00pm C200
Tuesday September 15th - 6:00-7:00pm C200

GROUP 2
Monday September 14th - 8:00-9:00pm C200
Tuesday September 15th - 7:00-8:00pm C200

U18C Coaches & Volunteers Needed!

With registrations coming in, we are currently projecting 2–3 teams at the U18C level this season, and we need your help!

The U18C season doesn’t begin until mid-October, so there’s still time to get involved.

We’re looking for volunteers for:

🏒 Assistant Coaches
🏒 Team Managers

A Checking Clinic is mandatory for U15 & U18 players rying out for a Rep Team who have not previously completed one.

No charge for County players!
*This clinic will take place at C200

Our Defence Camp is open to U11, U13, U15 & U18 defensemen, with spots limited to just 24 participants!

This camp is designed to balance physical intensity with mental development, building a strong foundation in technique and positional awareness.

Players must bring proper warm-up clothing,

🏒 Fitting only: Items can be tried on over your clothing.
🏒 No orders or payments will be taken at the fitting events.
🏒 Try it, check your fit & record your size for the upcoming year.
🏒 No dressing rooms will be available, so please come prepared to try items on over your clothing.
🏒 Sizing is approximate and intended to help you determine your best fit before ordering.
