Due to the liberal governments recent attacks on law full licensed gun owners while ignoring the criminal use of fi****ms we feel the need to clear up some miss information.
1- Assault Rifles have been banned in Canada since the late 70s. This is simply a term liberals use to trick people who do not know the difference and unfortunately lots of people fall for it. None of the guns that were just banned are capable of automatic fire which would be an actual Assault Rifle.
2- Why own a semi automatic ? Well in sport shooting events there is multiple targets there for require a semi auto (not full auto ) to engage quickly because speed is a factor in scoring. It’s not just about hunting.( there are lots of other reasons as well )
3- Restricted fi****ms are Registered by the dealer and not by the individual so registration is not optional. They are also only allowed to be used on ranges.
4- Licensed gun owners (Pal/RPAl) are run through a police check every 24 hours for as long as they hold the license.
5 - Red/Yellow flag laws - they say this is used to help combat gender based violence however most common weapons in gender based violence are knifes and fists. Lots of women own and shoot guns just as good and better then men.
6- The tragic mass shooting in Nova Scotia was done by a sick individual who DID NOT have a fi****ms license and the gun was obtained illegally therefore any ban would have not stopped this. Murder is illegal and criminals are already banned from owning guns.
7- Weapons of war …there is not a military in world using semi automatic rifles chambered in 22LR or civilian grade semi autos.
8- Sending them to Ukraine …like the above statement Ukraine will not be using civilian grade semi autos this is simply another way to trick you into believing they are weapons of war.
9- A semi auto Hunting Rifle is the same as a Semi auto sporting rifle only difference is how they look.
With all this being said this was a devastating blow to businesses and firearm owners across the country who are licensed and RCMP approved. However there is light at end of tunnel this government is soon to collapse and these laws repealed. Gangs in Toronto are not jumping through the hoops to obtain guns legally just to commit illegal crimes…wake up ! This is why even tho they have banned guns, gun crime is still rising at alarming rates, it has 0 affect on criminals.
We will remain open! And we recommend supporting groups like the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights and other alike. Also now is the time to write your MPs demanding they take action on Criminals and NOT RCMP vetted fi****ms owners.
