And that’s a wrap on this year Hockey Manitoba U11 Rural A Provincials !
We want to thank everyone for coming, and we hope you enjoyed your weekend.
Thank You Coaches for your commitment to coaching these teams including the hours you put in to help these players continue to develop. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.
Thank You Parents for being your child’s biggest cheerleaders during the highs and lows of the season, the kms driven and countless cups of hot coffee to try to stay warm during a practice/game. These tournament weekends may seem long, but these years are sure going by fast.
Thank You Kids for playing this game you love. You bring a community together, friends become family, and tournaments turn into a family getaway. You never give up during the toughest games and always show up to the rink ready to give it your all on the ice. Your minor hockey years will go by fast; don’t wish to grow up too quickly.
Thank You Referees. Without having you on the ice, we wouldn’t be able to play the game.
Thank You Rink Staff this weekend for keeping the ice in great shape, as well as keeping the arena looking great all weekend long. Krista and Jason, you spent many hours at the rink making sure the coffee was ready for the early games.
Thank You to the businesses and Individuals who sponsored our tournament to be able to make it as successful as it was.
Thank You to everyone who helped volunteer with opening ceremonies including Mike Campeau. You had everyone’s attention with your very talented drumming.
As well,thank you to the clock workers and game sheet workers. Also, we are thankful for the grad committee for working the door all weekend.
In addition, one more big THANK YOU to two guys who were at the rink from start to finish each day all weekend long. They both didn’t hesitate to help us this weekend when they were approached to help with these tasks.
Jordan did the game announcing during games, opening ceremonies and music for all 17 games. Ricky live streamed with commentary for all 17 games as well so anyone who wasn’t able to be there in person was able to watch or listen on our page.
