For those who don't know yet, one of our Fearless Leaders, Chris Thomsen, passed away November 19 after living with Cancer for 6 years. Fly Ball Games and R&D Customs brought brother-in-laws Brandon and Chris so much closer over the last few years. Many late nights in the garage, many Rum and Discussions, many 'business meetings' where Brandon, Chris, Julie and Jill talked, dreamt and planned a future for these businesses that has now been cut short. We are so grateful for all the support from all of you and we are proud to say, 'getting into business with family' was never an issue for our crew.
As for the plan going forward, we have games in stock that we will be selling at local markets until they are gone. Once they are sold, we will be closing Fly Ball Games. It doesn't feel right to continue on without Chris. He was a fundamental part of this business. If you have our games, know you contributed to an awesome chapter in our lives.
For R&D Customs, Brandon will keep the name in honor of Chris and continue to do projects and woodworking on his spare time. Anytime he needs to connect with Chris, he can do so through his work.
The end of an era, until next time Chris, we love you so much. ❤️
