We love seeing your enthusiasm, team spirit, and sportsmanship throughout the summer and are excited to see it this weekend!

Congratulations to everyone who has already showed some amazing results — your commitment and hard work are inspiring.

A special thank you to all the athletes and families who came by our table to chat and play some games with our Head Coach and Olympian, Vlad Ushakov.

Keep bringing this energy, supporting one another, and giving it your all. We’re proud of every one of you.

Surrey Water Polo is excited to welcome Coach Vega Jones to our club!

Vega has been playing water polo locally as well as internationally for 13 years. She fell in love with the sport when she started playing in Delta, and went on to play across Canada in the NCL. For four summers she also played with Santa Barbara Premier, a California based club. She competed with them in the Junior Olympics, allowing her to further develop her skills in international play.

Vega then went on to study at the University of Toronto, playing for the Varsity Blues Women’s water polo team both nationally and internationally.

With years of player and coaching experience, Vega will be a great addition to our club helping to develop a new generation of athletes.

We are very excited to have her join the Surrey Water Polo coaching team!

Congratulations to Seanrae, Lochlan, and Michael for their outstanding performance at the 2026 Men’s 16U Junior Olympics!

Seanrae and Lochlan played with the Northwest Water Polo Club in the Gold division taking 14th place.

Michael competed with Elmhurst Aquatics in the Gold division finishing 17th.

We are extremely proud of you and are happy to see you represent Surrey Water Polo Internationally. Keep up the amazing work!

We’re so incredibly proud of our athletes, Sasha Rodionova and Airi Cowie, for representing SWP at 2026 Junior Olympics!!

This year Sasha and Airi competed with Davis Water Polo in 18U Platinum division taking 23rd place. They fought hard and displayed their game IQ, awesome teamwork, and resilience.

Great work girls!!!

We are incredibly proud of Rowan Nicholson, Cruz Costa, Hunter Hughes, Grace Gwilliam, Annika Pokoyski and Bella Stanescu for representing Surrey at an international level!

We would love to extend our congratulations to Alexandra Rodionova, Hayley Hummel, JJ Xia, Jennifer Chey, Elspeth Warren, Gia Chandi, Nora Diestsch, Aleksandr Cheliubeev, Blake Janes, Richard Williams, and Anthony Povetkin for participating and earning the 4th place at the 2026 Canadian Championships with the 19U Team BC!

Congratulations to Cruz Costa, Sean-Rae Levis, and Alex Penev for getting🥉at the Canadian Championships with the 15U Men’s Team BC.

Congratulations to Annika Pokoyski, Renee Zhao, Bella Stanescu, Grace Gwilliam, Madi Berretta, Zaria Paez for getting 4th place at the Canadian Championships with the 15U Women’s Team BC.
