Your stronger side has been carrying your weaker side for way too long. 😅
Unilateral training, working one side of your body at a time, is how you actually find and fix those imbalances instead of just working around them. And since almost nothing we do in real life is perfectly symmetrical (hello, one-hip toddler carries), it's some of the most functional training you can do.
Swipe through for the breakdown of all 5 moves:
3 rounds of 10 reps each side (30 sec/side for the plank)
Rest 1 minute between rounds
What we do on one side, we must do on the other. Save this for your next workout!
B-Stance Deadlifts
Builds single-leg strength & stability without the full balance demand of a true single-leg move.
🎯 Hamstrings, glutes, core
Thrusters
A full-body power move — squat to press, done unilaterally to expose (and fix) imbalances between sides.
🎯 Legs, shoulders, core
Single Leg Glute Bridges
Isolates each glute individually, so one side can't compensate for the other.
🎯 Glutes, hamstrings
Donkey Kicks
Targets glute activation and hip stability, one leg at a time.
🎯 Glutes, hips
Side Planks
Builds lateral core strength — the stability that keeps you upright and balanced in daily movement.
🎯 Obliques, core, shoulders
What we do on one side, we have to do on the other. No skipping your "weaker" side just because it's harder, that's exactly the side that needs the work.
