Surrey Sailing Club Lessons, Racing, and Social Activities in Crescent Beach The Surrey Sailing Club was founded in 1970 to promote the sport of dinghy sailing.

It is a private sailing club that is run by volunteer members, and is non-profit. Located at an ideal spot on a large and scenic bay on the south side of Vancouver Canada, it offers:
* Single and family membership at a very reasonable cost
* Sailboat storage in a secured compound that is fenced and locked
* Close proximity to a protected sandy beach, ideal for dolly launching
* Sai

ling lessons on the club's fleet of training sailboats, open to non-members
* Organized sailboat racing three times per week, for six months of the year
* Rescue boats to assist sailors during training and formal races
* Social events
* An established clubhouse
* Kitchen and barbecue facilities
* Change-rooms and shower
* A fully equipped Race Control Tower
* Fresh water hoses to wash boats after sailing
