US Open 🇺🇸

Last week, a few of our senior athletes competed at the US Open in Las Vegas.

Rowan finished in the Round of 32, narrowly losing to Armenia.

Ethan ended in the Round of 16, losing to Denmark.

Josipa fought 4 hard matches and brought home a bronze medal. 🥉

Great work team! Next stop PanAms in Brazil 🇧🇷

Canada Open! 🇨🇦

Congratulations to our seniors last weekend in Calgary.

Rowan finished Top 16, losing to the eventual silver medalist from Japan.

Ethan fought through 4 matches earning himself a bronze medal.🥉

Josipa had strong 3 fights and finished with a silver after a competitive final. 🥈

Amazing work team, keep up the hard work and best of luck at the US Open this weekend!

B.C. Championships! 🏆

Last weekend was an eventful and successful one for Vortex. Our students competed hard and represented the team incredibly well. I couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you.

Congratulations aneya on winning Bronze at Canada Open. Tough day of matches. But both our juniors fought well and just fell short. Mariam lost her first to Aruba. But both had great matches against tough competitors. I’m proud of your performance!

Mariam had an outstanding match against the gold medalist and unfortunatly list in the third round
Elliott went up against the gold medalist and also lost his match
Amanda faced the silver medalist with determination but couldnt secure a win

Win or lose, every athlete stepped on the mat with courage and pride. This team continues to grow stronger—on and off the mat. Proud of every single one of you
