🎓✨ Class of 2026 ✨🎓

Today we celebrate Colbie.

There is something incredibly special about watching a dancer grow up right before your eyes. I had the privilege of teaching Colbie in one of her very first baby ballet classes, and from those tiny ballet shoes to the accomplished young woman she is today, it has been an honour to be part of her journey.
Over the years, I have watched Colbie grow not only as a dancer, but as a leader, teammate, and beautiful soul. Her dedication, determination, and love for dance have been evident in every season, and it has been a joy to watch her shine both on and off the stage.
Colbie, thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. Seeing you grow from those first baby ballet steps into the incredible young woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that your future holds.

Once an Ignite dancer, always an Ignite dancer. ❤️

🌙✨ Class of 2026 ✨🎓

Tonight, we celebrate Elizabeth.

There are some dancers whose journeys stay with you forever, and Elizabeth is one of them.
From the quiet, shy girl who first walked through our doors to the confident, social, and genuinely beautiful young woman she is today, watching her grow has been one of the greatest privileges. Over the years, I've had the joy of seeing her find her voice, build lifelong friendships, and become someone who brings light and laughter wherever she goes.
Some dancers leave footprints on your heart, and Elizabeth is one of them. Watching her blossom into the confident, genuine, and beautiful young woman she is today has been one of the greatest joys of my career, and I will always treasure the memories we've shared through dance.
Elizabeth, thank you for sharing your journey with us. Thank you for your kindness, your authenticity, and for always being unapologetically you. Seeing the person you have become has been a gift, and I couldn't be more proud.
As you step into your next chapter, know that you will always have a home at Ignite.

Today we celebrate Holly.

What started as a love for tap became a love for dance in all its forms. Over the years, Holly embraced every opportunity, stepped outside her comfort zone, and grew into a versatile and beautiful performer. From tap to every style she could get her hands on, she truly embraced the journey.
But beyond the dancer, we have had the privilege of watching Holly grow into a kind, hardworking, and remarkable young woman. Her quiet determination and willingness to try new things have been a joy to witness.
Holly, thank you for sharing your love of dance with us. We are so proud of all that you've accomplished and can't wait to see where life takes you next. No matter where your journey leads, you will always have a home at Ignite. ❤️

Today we celebrate Selene.

From her early dance days to the strong, confident young woman she is today, it has been an absolute privilege to watch her grow both on and off the stage. Her dedication, kindness, resilience, and love for dance have left a lasting mark on our Ignite family.

Selene, we are so proud of everything you have accomplished and even more excited for everything that lies ahead. No matter where life takes you, you'll always have a place at Ignite.

While many of you know Ignite Dance Company, the Ignite Performing Arts Society is a separate non-profit dedicated to creating more opportunities for children and youth in our community through arts programming, bursaries, and community initiatives.

Most importantly, the Society supports ALL children and youth in our community, not just those who dance at Ignite.

Ignite Dance Company will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in honour of Remembrance Day.
That is the day we pause to remember the sacrifices made by those who served and continue to serve.
