Meet Liv 👋🏼

She has been part of the Rise community since March 2021 and loves anything involving a heavy barbell 💪🏽. In 2026, her goal is to read 50 books and reconnect with their inner nerd. Liv wants anyone on the fence to know that even though some things may look impossible at first, everyone builds from their own starting point and the finish line looks different for each person.

Her advice? Your future self will thank you for giving it a try. Fun fact: Liv can write poetry in both English and French… but you’re not allowed to read it! Thanks for being a part of the Rise Family!

Meet Daniel!👋🏼

Daniel has been training at Rise for one year and part of our CrossFit Youth Program.

His favourite movement? Back squats — strong, focused, and always chasing better form and strength.

Looking ahead to 2026, one of Daniel’s goals is to deadlift over 200 lbs 💪 — and knowing his work ethic, he’s well on his way.

If you’re on the fence about trying Rise, Daniel says it best:
“It’s a great environment, lots of fun, and you gain a lot of confidence.”

And a fun fact about Daniel? He dreams of becoming a veterinarian and opening his own clinic one day 🐾 — big goals inside and outside the gym.
