Having reached the end of the season, we will be saying goodbye to Cerys and Grace as they age out of juniors. We have had an amazing season together and accomplished our biggest goal—representing Nova Scotia at nationals!! We are wishing them the absolute best with their future endeavours both on and off the ice 🙌🤗

This marks the end of Team Weissent, but Kate and Alexis will be continuing to play together for their last year of juniors. Stay tuned for updates 🙂

We are so proud of our skip Kate for being chosen for a Fair Play Award from the umpires at nationals last week! These incredible events would not be possible without their dedication and commitment! To have Kate recognized by them is an honour! Congrats Kate!!💙🤍

2025 Canadian Juniors!! 🤍💙

We had a great week in Summerside, Prince Edward Island for the Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Although we didn’t get the results that we had hoped for, finishing 5th in our pool, we are so proud to have been able to represent our province as Team Nova Scotia 2!!

We would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible–Robyn Mattie and her Curling Canada team, all of the umpires, the ice technicians for their hard work, and last but not least the Silver Fox Entertainment Centre and the Credit Union Place for hosting us. 🙌

We would also like to thank our sponsors for all of their ongoing support this season, especially our nationals event sponsors–Hickory Dickory Decks and WINMAR Property Restoration Specialists - Halifax– and our equipment sponsor, Goldline Curling.

A huge thank you goes out to our coach Anthony! Thank you for working with us all season and helping us to reach our potential. We wouldn’t be here without you!

Lastly, we want to thank our families and friends who came out to cheer us on this week, along with the ones who watched from home. Your encouragement and shared love for curling means the world to us. 🤗

Congratulations to all the medallists, especially to champions Team Plett and Nova Scotia’s own Team MacIsaac, who will be amazing representatives for Canada next year! Team Nova Scotia had a fantastic showing this week, with Team Atherton bringing home a bronze medal and Team Regan finishing 4th!

We had an amazing first day in Summerside at the 2025 Canadian Junior Curling Championships!!! Our day started off by driving to the island, followed by decorating our doors!! We ended off the night with the players social; we were so happy to see old friends and meet new ones 🙂

We’re on the ice at 9am & 12:30pm for prevent practice, 7pm opening ceremonies, and 9pm game 💙🤍🥌

We are SUPER EXCITED to be leaving TOMORROW for the 2025 Canadian Junior Curling Nationals! We are so grateful to be able to travel and compete against the best junior teams in the country, and we can’t wait to hit the ice Sunday in Summerside, PEI!! 🤍💙
