💙🏐 While this was not an easy decision, we have decided to postpone our Ethos Volleyball Camp this summer.

With Volleyball PEI declaring this the Summer of Volleyball ☀️🏐 and so many incredible camps, clinics, and development opportunities popping up across Prince Edward Island, we felt it was best to support and encourage athletes to take advantage of the amazing programs already being offered throughout the province.

Although we’re disappointed not to bring Ethos to the court this summer, we’re optimistic that we’ll have the opportunity to offer their expertise and programming at a later date. 💪✨

The good news? There are LOTS of fantastic volleyball opportunities available this summer for athletes of all ages and skill levels! 🙌🏐

Congratulations to Kristen O’Brien on being named the new Executive/Technical Director of Volleyball PEI! 🏐👏

Exciting news for volleyball on the Island — welcome to PEI, Kristen! We look forward to seeing the impact you’ll have across the volleyball community.🏐

Volleyball PEI Welcomes Kristen O’Brien as Executive/Technical Director

Volleyball PEI is pleased to announce that Kristen O’Brien will be joining our organization as our new Executive/Technical Director, formally beginning in the role on June 2nd.

Kristen brings a strong blend of technical volleyball experience, sport administration, athlete development, and organizational leadership. His volleyball background includes a standout U SPORTS playing career with Dalhousie University, where he received multiple conference accolades before continuing his playing career professionally overseas.

Beyond his playing career, Kristen has built significant experience in executive and technical leadership through his roles with the Tigers and Reds Volleyball Clubs, respectively. In these positions, he has supported operational oversight, program development and management, financial forecasting, athlete and coach recruitment, communications, and grassroots initiatives. He has also coached a wide range of age groups, from grassroots through U SPORTS, with long-term athlete development remaining a central focus throughout his tenure.

"I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Volleyball PEI and become part of such a passionate and tight-knit community. I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for the game to the Island, and I’m really looking forward to getting in the gym and working with athletes and coaches. Building strong relationships and supporting the continued growth of the volleyball community across PEI is something I care deeply about, and I’m eager to get started and contribute in a meaningful way."

Kristen’s combination of administrative leadership, technical volleyball knowledge, and community-focused approach will be a valuable asset as Volleyball PEI continues to strengthen programming, support clubs and develop coaches and officials, while creating meaningful opportunities for athletes across the province.

🚨🏐 MISSING VOLLEYBALL ALERT 🏐🚨

Tonight we completed our year-end club equipment inventory… and let’s just say… the numbers are NOT numbering. 😅

Even with a couple teams still needing to return jerseys/shirts and volleyballs, we appear to be missing DOZENS and DOZENS of our red & white volleyballs. 👀

🏐 Balls may be labeled:
• PC Heat 🔥
• SVC

Possible sightings include:
🏫 Local school gyms
🛒 Ball carts or ball hammocks
🚗 Vehicle trunks
🛏️ Bedroom corners
🐶 Dog toys (please no 😂)

If one or two (or 50 👀) accidentally followed your athlete home this season, no worries at all!

📩 Please just send us a message and we’ll happily arrange pickup — no questions asked. We’d simply love to get them back so they can be ready for another season . 💥🏐

They may be young, but they are mighty 🔥

Last but certainly not least, our 14U boys hit the court tonight at the Volleyball PEI Spring Provincials and made us incredibly proud as Tier 1 Silver Medal Finalists 🥈

This group showed heart, determination, and true team spirit all season long.

A huge thank you to Brandon and Hunter for leading and developing this amazing group of athletes. We’re also so grateful to all the caregivers for the time, travel, and support—getting these players to practices and games all across the island doesn’t go unnoticed.

Special shoutout to Lauren, our incredible team manager, for her communication, organization, attention to detail, and for always going above and beyond. You kept everything running smoothly all season!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this season possible for our first competitive boys team—this is just the beginning.

Yesterday our 16U team competed in VPEI spring league provincials!

They had great spring season, finished 2nd in regular season but came up short in the bronze medal game at provincials. Huge improvement in serving, attacks, and communication through the season and had lots of fun. Thank you to parents and caregivers!

Congrats to Ellie Sonier for MVP !

Huge thanks to coaches Audrey and Kendra for coaching this amazing group of girls and putting in all the time and travel to make this season happen.

This team truly wouldn’t have been possible without your willingness to step up, share your knowledge, and support these athletes every step of the way. Your dedication made such a difference, and it gave these girls an unforgettable spring season.

We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done 💙🏐

18U Male and Female Provincials

Last night, some great volleyball was played across the Island as our teams competed in the 18U male and female Volleyball PEI 2026 Provincials. 💛🏐

Congrats to three of our four teams on earning silver medals — an incredible achievement!

A heartfelt thank you to Katie and Carinne for coaching the 17U PCH team, and to team manager Natalie for all her hard work behind the scenes.

Shoutout to Belle and Abbi for coaching the 18U Spring Team and traveling to compete.

Due to prior commitments, our 15U PCH Red and Black teams combined and competed at a higher level. Thank you to Prab for coaching this group — they battled hard, came together quickly, and should be very proud of their effort.

Thanks to Ethan for coaching this group of 18U Boys independently.

What an incredible few weeks for our 14U girls teams! 🏐🔥

Both PCH Team Yellow and PCH Team Red showed amazing growth and development over a short spring season, battling through some nail-biting games and finishing with well-earned medals — Team Yellow bringing home silver and Team Red earning gold. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, teamwork, and resilience shown by every single player.

A huge thank you to all the caregivers for the time and commitment it takes to get these athletes all over the Island each week — your support makes everything possible.

Special shoutout to:

💛 Team Yellow coaches Naomi & Chelsea — newer to coaching and stepping up to take on this group, you created such a fun, positive learning environment and provided strong female leadership for these athletes. Your energy, encouragement, and willingness to grow alongside the players made a huge impact

❤️ Team Red coaches Robyn & Lindsay for their incredible leadership, consistency, and the positive, competitive environment they created for the team — your guidance and commitment truly showed in the way the athletes developed and competed

🔥 2026 PEI Volleyball Provincials are underway! 🔥

Our first provincials kicked off last night with our 14U Girls teams, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they started! 💪🏐

Over the next upcoming week, our other teams will hit the court — and we’re so excited to see all their hard work come to life.

It’s a short spring season here in PEI, but the growth, development, and progress these athletes make in such a small window is nothing short of incredible. From first serves to confident rallies, it’s amazing to watch.

We truly couldn’t do this without:

👏 our coaches and volunteers who give so much of their time
