After a fantastic game and atmosphere at last night's FC London Women match, we're looking forward to welcoming Ontario Premier League Men's action to Henk Van Dyk Stadium next week!

FC London Men will take on Windsor City FC in what promises to be another exciting evening of high-level soccer right here in Strathroy.

⚽ What a great morning to kick off our U3–U6 programs!

After having to cancel our first scheduled session because of the weather, it was nice to finally get everyone out on the field on Saturday. The sun was shining, the kids were excited, and the fields were full of smiles, laughter, and lots of soccer.

Thank you to all of our families, coaches, and volunteers for helping make the morning run smoothly. We loved seeing so many players out enjoying their first session of the season.

🚨U3, U4, U5 and U6 Programs🚨

We wanted to make sure no one missed the email update that went out last night 📧 :

Dear Saturday Morning Program Families,

Typically, our sessions will run in light rain (weather permitting), with cancellations only occurring in cases of thunder and lightning.

However, as we want our youngest players and families to have a fun and positive first experience with the program, we have made the decision to cancel tomorrow morning’s session, for all age groups, due to the forecasted rain expected throughout the morning.

The club will explore the possibility of adding a make-up session later in the season, depending on staff availability and field availability.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon for a great start to the season!

With the 2026 World Cup around the corner, you may noticed some flags from around the world 🔥

You’ll see them up behind the clubhouse during any Stadium games this summer, including every Saturday for our U3 to U6 programs… perfect backdrop for a quick pic 📸

Pretty cool to have the World Cup this close to home, and even better to see it reflected right here at the club.

⚽️ Meet Our Strathroy Youth Referee Crew ⚽️

We’re proud to have a great group of young referees stepping up this season with Strathroy United!

Many of these referees grew up playing in our club, and a number of them are still playing, which makes it even more special to see them giving back to the game in a new way.

They’re helping keep things running smoothly each week while building confidence and experience along the way.

If you see them out at games, don’t hesitate to give them a quick “good job” 👏 It goes a long way!

⚽ U7/8 BOYS & GIRLS ⚽

We’re excited to share that our U7/8 local development programs will once again be held at Bethel Creekside Fields this season! 🙌 It’s a great space for development, game nights, and community energy.

Here’s what a week will look like:

👧 U7/8 GIRLS
• Mondays | Practice | 6:00–7:00 pm
• Wednesdays | Games | 6:00–7:00 pm or 7:00–8:00 pm

👦 U7/8 BOYS
• Tuesdays | Practice | 6:00–7:00 pm
• Thursdays | Games | 6:00–7:00 pm or 7:00–8:00 pm

📅 The official start date and sorting date(s) will be announced as we get closer to the season, stay tuned!

🧢 COACHES NEEDED
We’re still looking for coaches for both programs. Any experience (or none at all!) is welcome! We provide support and guidance.

There are officially 10 Saturdays left until our Meet & Greet + Uniform Pickup on Saturday, May 9th! 🙌

We can’t wait to kick off another amazing season with our Strathroy United families!
