🎨 Calling All Indigenous Artists! 🎨
In honor of Indigenous Heritage, the Strathroy Rockets, SCPS, and IADC are teaming up for a special jersey design contest focused on culture, sport, and community.
We aren’t just looking for a logo—we’re looking for a design that tells a story.
🏒 Bridging the Gap in Hockey
This winning design is going to represent Indigenous excellence across both the men’s and women’s game:
The Strathroy Rockets will wear these limited-edition jerseys during our Indigenous Heritage Charity Game.
All jerseys will be auctioned off after the game to fund local Indigenous youth programming and community supports.
The Wiikwemkoong U21 Elite female hockey team will also wear this design as they compete at the National Indigenous Hockey Championships (NIJHC) this July.
🖌️ Get Mentored by Kory Parkin
We are honoured to have renowned artist Kory Parkin on board as our artist mentor.
The top 10 finalists will earn a mentorship call with Kory to talk about the business of art and what it takes to design for the pros.
📝 How to Enter
You don’t need to be “tech-savvy” to win. We want to see your creativity, whether it’s a digital masterpiece or a hand-drawn sketch using markers or crayons. If your vision is picked, Kory will help translate it into the final digital format.

Deadline: Get your submissions in by June 7, 2026. The winner will be announced on National Indigenous Peoples Day June 21st, 2026.
