Strathmore Minor Ringette Association Strathmore Minor Ringette Association is a community based sports association.

Ringette....
-is where Fun & Friendships Happen on Ice!
-Builds strong, fit & confident girls
-Start as young as 4 years old
-teaches kids to be strong skaters
-a non-contact sport with full protective equipment
-encourages maximum participation, a true team sport
-can be played recreationally or competitively
-builds skilled athletes
-can be played locally, provincially, nationally & even internationally
-for any age & physical stage, from 4 – 95

We’re getting closer to finalizing our tournament lineup, and we want to thank all of the teams who have expressed interest in joining us! We truly appreciate your patience and excitement for the Laurie Ruppe Memorial Tournament.

If your team has been accepted into the tournament, you will receive an email by Thursday with confirmation and additional information.

This year, we’re welcoming OutGUN Ringette to the ice! Founders Dylan Pighin and Madi Rice will lead sessions combining power skating with position-specific training for forwards, defence, and centres.

⛸️ 4 consecutive ice sessions
📅 Thursday mornings
⏰ 6:30–7:30 AM
📍 Chestermere Rec Centre
💰 $100 for 4 sessions

📧 CHECK YOUR EMAIL! Registration information, camp dates, age groups and RAMP registration links have been sent out. Registration is first-come, first-served, so make sure you check your inbox and register early to secure your athlete’s spot!

✨ Please arrive 10 minutes early when possible
📍 Sept. 29 & Oct. 6: Indus Rec Centre – Meeting Room
📍 Oct. 9 & Oct. 13: Strathmore Concession Area
👟 Players should arrive in full gear, including skates, with no helmet or neck guard
📸 Each player will have an individual photo, plus a team photo
👯 Sibling photos or different-time requests can be arranged through One Shot Photography

We’re excited to be part of the 2026 FAST – Female Athlete Sport Talk, a FREE community and family event dedicated to educating, supporting and celebrating female athletes of all ages! 🙌

📍 Strathmore Civic Centre – Strathmore, Alberta
⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

🌟 What you can expect:
🏆 Speakers and a keynote speaker sharing how we can better support female athletes
🎤 An interview panel featuring female athletes sharing their experiences
🏒 Local sports associations with interactive booths, skills tests, team information and more!
