Stratford Warriors GOJHL The Stratford Warriors Junior Hockey Club is a Western Conference team in the GOHL. The Club is a member of the Mid-Western Jr.

The Stratford Hockey Club commenced operations in 1975 as the Cullitons and was renamed the Warriors in 2016. League which is presently comprised of nine teams located in Stratford, Waterloo, Kitchener, Elmira, Cambridge, Guelph, Listowel, Brampton and Brantford. We are certainly proud of our record and every effort is made to maintain our winning tradition.

The Stratford Warriors are excited to announce the signing of defenceman Gibson Grendel.

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Grendel joins the Warriors after already gaining experience at the collegiate level with Calvin University’s ACHA Division I program.

He has now decided to return to junior hockey to maximize his development and make the most of his remaining junior eligibility before returning to college!

KEEPING LOCAL TALENT HOME 🔥

The Stratford Warriors are thrilled to announce the signing of forward Ethan Bridges.

A Stratford native, Bridges joins the Warriors following an outstanding season with the Huron-Perth Lakers U16 AAA program, where he recorded 46 points (16G, 30A) in 30 regular season games.

His impressive campaign was recognized in the OHL Priority Selection, where he was chosen by the North Bay Battalion in the 6th Round, 117th overall.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT 🔥

The Stratford Warriors are thrilled to announce the signing of forward Declan McCotter.

One of the top players in Alliance U16 hockey last season, McCotter put together an outstanding campaign with the Huron-Perth Lakers, recording 60 points (28G, 32A) in just 30 regular season games.

Adding to an already impressive year, Declan was selected today by the Flint Firebirds in the 4th Round, 77th overall, of the OHL Priority Selection.

McPhee adds a combination of size and offensive ability to the Warriors lineup after an impressive season with the Huron-Perth Lakers U18 AAA program. In 28 Alliance U18 AAA games last season, Ethan recorded 33 points (14G, 19A)

OH BOYYY 👀🔥

The Stratford Warriors are thrilled to announce the signing of forward Hudson Leenders.

Leenders arrives in Stratford after a dominant season with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks U18 AAA program, where he recorded 48 points (23G, 25A) in 34 regular season games before adding another 19 points (5G, 14A) in 12 playoff contests.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Hudson was selected 6th overall by the Saginaw Spirit in last night’s OHL U18 Draft, further cementing his status as one of the top young players around!

The Stratford Warriors are excited to announce the signing of forward Chase Martin.

Selected by the Barrie Colts in the 13th round (259th overall) of the 2025 OHL Priority Draft, Martin joins the Warriors after a strong season with the Markham Waxers U18 AAA program, where he recorded 24 points (9G, 15A) in 28 games.

A skilled forward with good size and offensive upside, Chase brings another exciting young talent to Stratford as we continue building for the future.

FROM THE STANDS TO THE SWEATER ❤️🤍💙

The Stratford Warriors are thrilled to announce the signing of hometown forward Colten Brenzil.

A Stratford native who grew up cheering on the Warriors, Brenzil now gets the opportunity to continue his hockey journey with the team he watched as a kid. (Swipe to see a young Colten in the Warriors dressing room years before earning his spot!)

Brenzil enjoyed an outstanding rookie season with the Mitchell Hawks, recording 29 points in 37 games. He also appeared in three games with the Warriors last season, scoring his first GOHL goal.

The Stratford Warriors are proud to announce that defenceman Will Coward has re-signed for the upcoming season! He will once again be joining his cousin Drew Hodge on the blue line!

Coming off a standout year, Coward recorded 26 points in 45 games and was named the Stratford Warriors Jack Dent Award winner as the team’s Outstanding Defenceman, showcasing his consistency and impact at both ends of the ice.
