📾 We’re putting our community in front of the camera!

On October 25th at 1PM, we’re hosting a special members-only Modo class + photoshoot, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

This is a chance to show up for your studio and help us capture the real Modo experience to share across our socials, newsletters and website. Our amazing photographer Brennan will be moving throughout the room, catching all the sweaty, focused, joyful moments that make a Modo class what it is.

Come ready to practice! We just ask that you wear clothing without any large logos so we can keep the images feeling true to Modo.

Join Niki AndrĂ© and Alison Paprocki for All Hallows’ Eve: Mini Retreat on Friday, October 30th, from 6:30–9:30 PM at Modo Yoga Stratford.

Through poetry, movement, song, seasonal traditions, and the warmth of community, we’ll create space to connect, reset, and reflect during this time of year.

We’re kicking off a 30-Day Movement Challenge from October 13th to November 11th, and we want YOU to join us!

Move in the studio, take it outside, roll out your mat at home, or squeeze in some movement on the go. It doesn’t matter where you are or what it looks like. It’s all about showing up, building a little momentum, and making movement part of your everyday life again.

We’ll have a sticker board at the studio to track your progress, celebrate your wins, and cheer each other on along the way.

And because everything is more fun with a friend, sign up with a buddy and you’ll both receive a Modo Mantra T-shirt and electrolytes!

We’re still here, Stratford! 🧡

Even with the Downie Street construction happening outside, Modo Yoga Stratford is open and classes are running as usual.

If you’re coming to the studio, we have a few parking spots available on the left side of our building. You can also park for free in the Cooper Lot, just across the street.

Construction might be changing the view for a little while, but it’s not stopping us from getting on our mats. We’ll see you in the hot room!

Members of Modo Yoga Stratford are invited to join this special photoshoot class! By registering and attending, you are providing consent for photos and/or videos of you to be captured and shared publicly in our marketing materials (e-newsletter, social media, website, printed materials, etc).

There’s nothing special you need to prepare or bring to this class, although we do ask that you avoid wearing clothing with large logos or text. We’ll work through the 40 carefully chosen postures of the Modo sequence over 60 minutes 📾

One final reason to care about trees: you. 🌿💚

Exposure to green spaces is associated with better cardiovascular health, a lower risk of depression and anxiety, more physical activity and reduced loneliness.

And when you add that to everything we’ve shared this month, the connection becomes pretty powerful.
Trees help clean our air. They cool our communities. They protect our water. They support biodiversity. And simply having access to green space is associated with healthier humans.

We need trees—and trees need us to protect them.

That’s the idea behind Sweat for Sustainability: our own well-being and the well-being of the planet aren’t separate. They’re deeply connected. And when thousands of us choose to do something small together, we have the opportunity to create meaningful change. 🌎
