Stratford Ballet Week Professional ballet, pointe and solo training for your intermediate or advanced ballet student, taught by dancers from the National Ballet of Canada.

The Stratford Ballet Week is a professional training program designed for your intermediate or advanced ballet student with a minimum 1 year of pointe work. Our goal is to provide a non-competitive atmosphere, where learning, training and fun are the main focus. We will specialize in the true fundamentals of ballet: correct posture, alignment, turnout, flexibility and technique. Each ballet class,

pointe class and solo class will emphasize clean lines, musicality, proper footwork and strength in order to move quickly to a higher level of technique and confidence. Taught by highly trained ballet dancers from The National Ballet of Canada, your student will receive some of the best ballet training in North America.

Did you know one of Canada’s most acclaimed actors began their career as a ballet dancer? Michael Greyeyes is a graduate of Canada's National Ballet School and danced with The National Ballet of Canada from 1987 to 1990. A celebrated actor, director, choreographer and founder of Signal Theatre, Michael is well known for his many roles on film and TV. You can see him in Fear the Walking Dead, I Know This Much is True with Mark Ruffalo, in the critically acclaimed film Woman Walks Ahead, alongside Jessica Chastain, and most recently, Rutherford Falls. Michael is Plains Cree from the Muskeg Lake First Nation in Saskatchewan.
