Rocking B Performance Horses is owned and operated by April Wilbraham. April is an avid Barrel Racer and barrel horse trainer. Currently a competing member of the Canadian Cowboys Association, Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association, Saskatchewan Barrel Racing Association, and Manitoba Barrel Racing Association. April Graduated the Western Ranch and Cow Horse program at Lakeland College in 2014. She graduated at the top of her class receiving the Achievement Award and scholarship for the highest GPA, and was the only one in her program to make the Dean's List Honor Roll. April's success in the Equine industry is not limited to the Rodeo arena. She has also won titles showing horses under English and Western Attire. We at Rocking B Performance Horses believe in a putting a strong foundation on our barrel horses we train. We train them so that they stay sound in mind and body for years of competition down the road. Quality work and effort leads to a better quality outcome! Horses must have a minimum of 60 days on them before coming to Rocking B Performance Horses (we are not out to bust broncs). Horses must spend 1 month with us before we will campaign them as for sale. Rates are as follows:
Selling horses $500/month 10% Sale comisson
3-5 years old $600/month
6+ years old $700/month
Futurity Horses $500/month (must stay for 2 months minimum. Jockeying Packages available.) We have access to a large outdoor dirt arena (located on our property), a large outdoor sand arena (5 minutes away from us), and a good sized indoor arena (15 minutes away from us). We take client horses all year round. Horses are guaranteed to have a minimum of 20 rides/month ( A Trainers month). Horses can be blanketed, and grained once or twice a day as per owners wishes. Horses can be hauled to jackpots at owners request for an extra fee. Barrel Racing Lessons are provided as well. Rates are as follows:
$30/hour on clients horse
$40/hour on a Rocking B Performance Horses Horse
