Meadowbrook Golf Club is seeking for full time or part time Food and Beverage Service Staff that will be responsible for:

Setting up assigned rooms and work stations
Taking and placing orders
Replenishing all beverage stations and work stations
Maintaining high level of clean and organized work stations
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control

This position serves as a liaison between the client and the kitchen. The servers responsibility is to provide excellent service to our guests, and to ensure that the food and beverage is delivered in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:
Past experience in a Private Club environment beneficial
Smart Serve certification preferred
Must be friendly, a team player, high-energy, detail oriented, and focused on exceptional service
Well groomed, mannerly and co-operative
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to anticipate and respond to member needs
Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and carry out many tasks simultaneously
Basic food knowledge
General knowledge of wines, beers and spirits
Punctual and reliable
Customer service mindset and self motivation

Must be able to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Must be able to work in the fall

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and like-minded individuals to join our Course & Grounds team. Successful applicants will operate a wide variety of mowing and cultivation equipment and contribute to the daily conditioning and setup of the golf course.

Meadowbrook Golf Club is located in Gormley just outside Stouffville ON. Established in 1960, Meadowbrook has a long standing tradition of being a friendly club, operated by the members, for the members. Our members and staff take pride in the club and expect everyone that comes as a guest, member or staff does the same.

Outside Customer service position

Expectations:
 Physically fit
 Must be able to lift 50 pounds over head (golf bags)
 Great customer service attitude
 Available to work evenings and weekends
 Work well in a team environment
 Take and follow directions well
 Excellent time management skills

Job Description:
 Set up bags and carts in the morning
 Clean clubs & carts
 Upkeep of the driving range (picking balls and setting up the range for daily use)
 Bag drop area
 Service the members/guests when they arrive

We are looking for people that fit our team dynamic. That is someone who works well in a team environment, a self-starter that will take the initiative to do the work without being told, someone that enjoys the game of golf and understands what is expected when arriving at a private club.

As winter has certainly come in full force, we’d like to thank all of our members and guests for a phenomenal 2018 season! As of this past Sunday, the course is officially closed for the season. We hope to have an even better 2019! ❄️⛳️
