Last night my kids are going through my bag in the basement that's full of Croatia gear, flags, hats, whatever.

My youngest finds a Croatia wallet. She wants to take $20 from her piggy bank to put in there to take to The Club for the game, to spend, where else ... at the Snack Shack.

She goes to empty the wallet and finds my Hamilton Croatia membership card from over thirty years ago. I had no idea she did this until this morning.

I look at the front page and the middle pages and I get a bit nostalgic.

But God left this booklet on my kitchen island this morning to make sure I read the back page.

This is what Hamilton Croatia is about, this is what our nation is about.

Go ahead, dare you to read it without shedding a tear.

Preparations for today are ongoing, thanks to all of the staff and volunteers thus far.

💰 $20 cover charge at the gate
↪️ No in-out policy for the entire day
🍔 BBQ will be running from 3 to 10 pm
🧺 Outside food is also permitted
🚫 Outside beverages are NOT permitted

⚠️ THIS IS AN ALL AGES, ALL DAY EVENT. WE WILL BE CHECKING ID AT THE GATE.

⏰ NO ENTRY AFTER 8:00 P.M. IF YOU ARE UNDER 19. REPEAT. ANYBODY SHOWING UP AFTER 8:00 P.M. WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN WITHOUT ID SHOWING THEY ARE ABOVE THE AGE OF 19.

After numerous calls, emails, and texts, we finally decided to post something about the World Cup viewing situation at HamCro.

Our regular opening hours for the outdoor pavilion are weekdays at 4:00 p.m.

If there is a Canada game that happens prior to this time we will open 1 hour prior to kickoff.

For example, Canada and BiH play today at 3:00 p.m. we open at 2:00 p.m.

On these days we will feature a full kitchen menu.

On days that Croatia plays prior to our regular opening hours, we will open three hours before kickoff.

So next Wednesday, June 17th, Croatia and England play at 4:00 p.m. We will be open at 1:00 p.m.

For Croatia games we will have a limited kitchen menu featuring ćevapi, svinjske šnicle (sendviči), and kranjske kobasice, along with available sides.

Those games will be shown in four different viewing areas - The Croatia Club Restaurant, the Main Banquet Hall, the outdoor pavilion, and the bocce bar patio.

From the old Club on Kenilworth to our current home, since the dawn of satellites, Hamilton Croatia has been showing every Croatia game. All the time. Forever.

Might be a watch party for you. For us, Croatia's playing. It's on at The Club.
