We didn’t just win a trophy—we earned every single piece of it.

Four months of non-stop effort, blood, sweat, and relentless drive brought the HDCL T25 Championship home to Brantford Cricket Club.

This title belongs to every player on this squad. Throughout the season, we showed true resilience, a warrior spirit, and a strict “never back down” mindset when down to the wire. Beyond the runs and the wickets, our true strength was our unity. We fought as a team, stood together as a brotherhood, and played for the crest on the front of the shirt.

Immensely proud of this entire team. We set out with a goal, put in the work, and finished as champions. 🏆

Hamilton & District Cricket League 2026 T25 Elite (CricStudio) Division has a champion in Brantford Cricket Club. In a most thrilling finals of 2026, Brantford CC was able to hold their nerves to come victorious against GTA Warriors Cricket Club.

Brantford CC surprised Niagara Cricket Club , the Elite Division Champions going the entire season undefeated in the first semi final in a low scoring game while GTA Warriors surprised favorites Hamilton Cricket Club in another semi final by a one-sided victory to set up a final.

The final lived up to its expectations, with only two dot balls in the final over being the difference in win or loss.

Batting first, Brantford CC compiled a handsome score of 218 in 25 overs. However, GTA Warriors never gave up and despite losing wickets on regular intervals, kept going at the target set, ultimately losing by 5 runs to settle as the runners up.

Congratulations to Brantford CC on winning another league championship and to GTA Warriors on their maiden HDCL championship final appearance and finishing 2nd best in the league.

Congratulations go out to Halton Cricket Club on winning the maiden Hamilton & District Cricket League title by capturing the HDCL 2026 T25 Premier Division title.

In the final game played at Niagara Cricket Center - Halton Cricket Club's All Stars defeated Burloak Strikers.

Batting first, HCC All Stars compiled an impressive total of 186 in allotted 25 overs, helped by Gursewak Pandher, Rohit Malhotra and small yet useful contributions with the bat by lower order.

In response, Burloak Strikers could not stitch an impactful partnership except Nikhil Manchanda who put up lone resistance with 26 runs before the inning closing at 94 all out with Gurbhej Singh being the pick of bowlers for All Stars picking 3 wickets.

Hamilton & District Cricket League 40 overs championships are all claimed. With Niagara Cricket Academy claiming back to back Elite Division titles by defeating Proteas Cricket Club today at Niagara Cricket Center.

Batting 1st, Niagara Cricket Academy got off to a dream start of 135 runs without loss. Skipper Harshal Patel was in a blistering mood and ended up missing a maiden 100. With useful contributions from Sohel Benjamin & Ashutosh Vyas, NCA set a target of 257.

Proteas CC got into trouble early by losing 5 wickets for meagre 31 runs within the first 10 overs. From here on, the game was lost but not the fight. Proteas did manage to showcase why they bounced back from a poor 2025 by being resilient in playing 40 overs and end up with 152 for 9.

Congratulations to Niagara Cricket Academy for being crowned 2026 Elite Division Champion.

Congratulations goes out to Imperial Cricket Club from Niagara Falls on capturing Hamilton & District Cricket League 2026 Premier Division 40 overs championship.

This was the 2nd year for Imperial CC in Premier Division and winning a championship in only 2nd year is a feat in itself. Heartiest congratulations to the entire Imperial family for an outstanding 2026 season reaching SF on Elite division and winning the Premier Division.

We have a Hamilton & District Cricket League CHAMPION for 2026 Super Elite 40 overs.

After having a not strong season in SE in 2025, KW Kings XI (ARCC) regained their winning touch in the 2026 season. Facing Sunrise Tri-City, also from the KW area, King XI chased down the total of 164 with almost ease with 4 wickets in hand and over 3 overs to spare.

The chase was controlled by ever-reliable and most accomplished batter Jeevan Sidhu who held the inning together with a well-compiled 74 runs. Earlier Dhruv Patel helped KW Kings XI in restricting Sunrise Tri-City to a modest score by taking 4 for 31 from his full quota of 8 overs.

Congratulations to KW Kings XI on lifting the highest divisional championship.

The stage is set for the 2026 Elite division championship of Hamilton & District Cricket League 40 overs. Last year's champions Niagara Cricket Academy will try to defend the title against surging & well balanced Proteas Cricket Club on Saturday Sept 12 at Niagara Cricket Center.

Proteas CC bounced back brilliantly this season and regrouped from setbacks of last season in reaching a well deserved final.

From its earliest days in the mid-19th century to the vibrant matches played today under the summer sun, this club has stood as a true cornerstone of our sporting community. Generations of players, families, and supporters have walked these grounds, passing down a passion for the sport and building a legacy that spans nearly two centuries.
