🏒 Financial assistance is available for female hockey players across Canada.

The Grindstone Award Foundation is now accepting applications for registration and equipment grants for the 2026-27 season.

If financial barriers are making it difficult to participate in hockey, these grants can help cover registration costs and equipment expenses so athletes can stay on the ice.

Little girls in Hamilton just got a new dream to chase. đź’šđź’›

Seeing Ivy Johnston speak at the PWHL Hamilton announcement hit different. Not long ago, moments like this barely existed. Now there’s a professional women’s hockey team coming to our city and the next generation gets to grow up believing this path is real.

For our Sabres athletes to be in that room, hear those stories, and feel that energy firsthand is something they’ll remember for a long time.

The game keeps getting bigger. The opportunities keep getting louder. And girls hockey in Hamilton just took another massive step forward.

Future pros are already in the rink.
