Tonight was our annual company member/parent meeting for this upcoming dance season! We can’t wait to get into the studio with this awesome team of dancers and start rehearsing for our Christmas ballet. 🩰🐑✨😇🐫

Welcome the Arise Family! 🤗

We are so glad to have you join us this year at Arise School of Dance - where dance training meets spiritual formation.

You might be wondering, “What is a Christian dance studio?”
That’s a great question!

A dance studio itself can’t have a relationship with the Lord. It’s not about the building, the name, or even the posters on the wall (although our posters are encouraging 😉). Ultimately, being a Christian dance studio is about the people inside the walls - our staff and teachers.

We love the Lord, and believe that dance is a gift He has given us - one that we can use to worship Him and bring Him glory. That is why we do what we do.

At Arise, we want to create an environment where students are not only growing in their dance technique, but also being encouraged in their faith. We look for opportunities to speak Biblical truth into our students’ lives, to encourage them when things get tough, and to point them toward Jesus when they are facing challenges.

Our desire is to continually point our students back to God and remind them of who He is and who they are in Him.

The music that is chosen and the choreography that we create is intentionally crafted to honour and glorify God, and we prioritize modest, age-appropriate costumes. But while these things are important, being a Christian dance studio is so much more than just content. At the end of the day, it comes down to the hearts of our teachers and what they put into the students entrusted to their care.

We are so thankful to have you be a part of the , and can’t wait to see how Good works through this year of dance, growth, friendship, and faith!

Last week was our annual teachers meeting kickoff, with all the teachers and teaching assistants in one room to discuss our team vision, values, and plan for the year. We CAN’T WAIT to get into the studio with all of our students next week! 🙌😄🎉

Arise offers preschool dance classes on Thursday mornings for those who seek daytime activities with their little ones. 😊 These once-a-week 45 minute classes are filled with fun and imagination, establishing a foundation in movement, exercise, and musicality!

• Mommy & Me (ages 2-3, all caregivers welcome)
• Pre-Dance (ages 3-4)

Fall term runs from September to December (14 weeks). 🍃🍁🍂
