The Stettler Trap Club has been active in the Stettler area for over 30 years.

Misfires: If a gun fails to fire, keep the muzzle downrange for at least 30-60 seconds, as it may be a hangfire.

Oh Mother Nature you are a cruel mistress … apparently you have decided to pause the 2026 season while we wait for 3/4 of a stubby to melt … not that we are bitter or anything! Don’t worry shooters we will keep you up to date as the snow melts and the next shoot day is confirmed. (P.S. technically this picture is a few kilometres north of the trap club but it’s been snowing in the general area for 2 days now)

Safety Tip #1

Action Open & Empty: Guns must remain unloaded with actions open and barrels pointing downrange (or straight up/down if breaking) when off the station or walking between posts.
